A note for grown-ups

Magical for them. Reassuring for you.

You're handing a bedtime story to someone small. Here is how DreamPages earns that trust, in plain language.

No ads Private by default Parent controlled

Age-appropriate by design

Every story idea and every finished story passes through layered content moderation before it reaches your family. The age you set shapes vocabulary, sentence length, and emotional complexity, so a story for a three-year-old does not read like a shortened chapter book.

Private by default

Stories stay private to your account unless you deliberately turn on a share link. There is no feed, no public gallery of family stories, and no way for another user to browse what you have made.

No ads, ever

DreamPages has no third-party ad networks, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no advertising identifiers. We do not sell personal information, and personal data is never used for advertising.

Never used to train AI

Your stories, your characters, and your child’s details are never used to train AI models. Not by us, and not by the AI providers we work with.

What happens to a photo

The character is the keepsake. The photo is not.

Turning a photo into a story character is always your choice. If you do, the photo is deleted as soon as the drawing is finished. What stays is the illustration.

We do not keep it

The photo is deleted automatically once the drawing is done, normally within minutes. It is never added to your library or stored beside your stories.

Nobody else sees it

It is never public, never browsable, and never shown to another family. It exists only long enough to draw from.

It never trains AI

Your photo is never used to train AI models, by us or by the AI providers we work with.

And if a character is a child, or there is any doubt at all, DreamPages will not let that character or any story they appear in be shared publicly.

Questions, answered plainly

What parents ask first

The full detail lives in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Is DreamPages safe for children?

Yes, with a grown-up holding the account. Every idea and every finished story passes through layered moderation, there are no ads, and nothing is public unless you choose to share it. You make the story, so you see the finished book before your child ever does.

Are our stories used to train AI models?

No. Your stories, your characters, and your child’s details are never used to train AI models. Every provider we work with is configured that way.

Can AI still get something wrong?

Sometimes, yes. The safety layers catch a great deal, but no system catches everything. The finished book is in your hands before it becomes a bedtime story, and if something ever lands wrong, we want to hear about it.

What happens to a photo I upload?

It is held privately, used to draw the character, then deleted automatically, normally within minutes. It is never added to your library, and what you keep is the drawing.

Can my child appear in a story I share publicly?

No. If a character was made from a photo of a person, or there is any doubt at all, DreamPages will not let that character or any story they appear in be shared publicly. Nobody can switch that off.

Who can see a story I share?

Only the people you send the link to. Share pages ask search engines to stay away, and they show only what you approved when you shared. You can switch the link off, or swap it for a new one, whenever you like.

Can my child use DreamPages on their own?

DreamPages is made for a grown-up to run. Accounts belong to an adult, children never create accounts or enter their own details, and creation, characters, and sharing all stay in your hands.
